Valencia midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia says he now has “confidence in myself” after moving on loan from Inter.
The Frenchman spent two seasons at San Siro, but he left in the summer with Joao Cancelo going the other way in an exchange of loans.
“I think the key is the team, who help me maintain a good performance on the pitch,” Kondogbia explained to El Desmarque.

“I have more confidence in myself now and there’s a good group here. We all try to help each other and with these little things I’ve eventually been able to score three goals.
“Is this the best period of my career? It’s difficult to say. In some respects yes, in others no. In terms of my play there are some aspects where I’m at my best, but in others I’m doing less well than previous years.
“If we just look at the statistics though, without considering the content, then I’d say yes.”
