Aleksandar Kolarov is considering hanging up his boots soon and he could join Simone Inzaghi’s staff at Inter.

The 36-year-old Serbian defender has hardly featured for the Nerazzurri this season, playing only 44 minute across the league and Champions League in the first half of the season. A muscle injury and competition in the left back role have left the veteran sidelined in the Lombardy capital.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Kolarov is seriously considering retiring at some point in the next few months, possibly even before the season ends. He wants to remain in the world of football and he could work as an agent, but Inzaghi has other ideas.

The Inter coach wants to offer the Serbian defender a role in his team and this idea is very interesting to the former Roma and Lazio man. He is currently considering all his options, but it’s incredibly likely that Kolarov will be hanging up his boots before the end of the summer.
