The veteran German striker has been pushed out of the starting XI by Filip Djordjevic and hasn’t scored in Serie A for months.
“I see he is still ambitious,” Lazio director Tare told Sport 1.
“His first thought is for the success of the team, then he thinks of personal objectives. Miro doesn’t just help the side on the field, but also in other ways.
“He gladly accepted this role and you just have to observe how he approaches his team-mates with advice.
“Klose is the most important player in this squad.”
