“Fresh legs and the opportunity to do it,” Klopp told BT Sport when asked why he had started Naby Keita rather than Jordan Henderson.
“Hendo has played a lot of games now and didn’t have a perfect pre-season. That’s what I decided. I want to have Naby’s specific skills in between the lines.
“We are not 100 per cent sure about the Napoli line-up but it looks like a 4-3-3 and they changed a little bit.
“It’s quite offensive but without [Piotr] Zielinski and [Dries] Mertens; they brought one more midfielder in, that’s how it looks in the moment.
“That shows they have a home game and want to decide it here. They respect us; that’s what we do with them as well. Now let’s play the game.”
