The forward arrived in the capital this summer from Ajax, and has featured in four of the Biancocelesti’s first five matches this season.

“I’m not surprised by the start I’ve made in a Lazio shirt,” Kishna told AD.

“I know what [Coach Stefano] Pioli expects of me. I owe a lot to the team, who help me on the pitch, I’m adjusting well to Italy.

Kishna also discussed his departure from Ajax, having fallen out with Coach Frank De Boer.

“I’m sorry about how things turned out, but I’m happy that I’ve been able to start on a new journey which is bringing me great satisfaction.

“I’ve started from scratch at Lazio, I’ve yet to show my full value. The club is happy with the way I’m working, and so am I.”
