“I’ve been at the club for long time and I feel like a leader,” the Ivory Coast international added.

Kessié enjoys playing in a two-man midfield.

“I think I give my best with the system even if I’ve also played in a three-man midfield and I think I did well.”

The former Atalanta man is Milan’s dedicated penalty kick-taker.

“I am happy Ibra gave me the chance to take penalty kicks, but if he wants to take one during a game he can do it. Sometimes a striker needs to score goals."

The Swede returned to action after an injury against Torino on Saturday and is expected to start against Cagliari next weekend.
