Seydou Keita is in line for a first Roma start as one of a potential seven changes for the team’s Champions League tie against CSKA Moscow.

Wednesday evening sees the Giallorossi make their return to the UEFA competition at home to the Russians and Rudi Garcia is expected to make a number of changes to the side that won 1-0 at Empoli on Saturday night.

The Gazzetta dello Sport indicate that midfielder Keita could lead those changes and come in for the suspended Daniele De Rossi.

Alongside the 34-year-old, Garcia is expected to bring back Francesco Totti, Juan Iturbe and Gervinho to the attack, and revamp the defence.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta dello Sport run quotes from Keita on his work with Garcia so far.

“Pep Guardiola spoke highly of me because he always recognised my work for the team," the Mali international has reflected.

“Garcia is similar: he too likes the team to play well, to have possession of the ball and to manage the game.

“They have the same belief: you get results though your play."

Probable Roma line-up to face CSKA Moscow: De Sanctis; Torosidis, Manolas, Astori, Holebas; Pjanic, Keita, Nainggolan; Gervinho, Totti, Iturbe
