Roy Keane admits he regrets turning down a move to Juventus in favour of remaining at Manchester United.

The Irishman spent 12 years at Old Trafford, winning the English Premier League seven times as well as the Champions League – although the combative midfielder missed the final after being suspended following a semi-final with Juventus.

Speaking to FourFourTwo, Keane discussed his footballing regrets, revealing that he turned down a move to the Turin giants, as well as German club Bayern Munich.

Speaking to FourFourTwo, Keane discussed his footballing regrets, revealing that he turned down a move to the Turin giants, as well as German club Bayern Munich.

“My regret was that I should have gone abroad earlier in my career,” the former Sunderland manager explained.

“I could have signed for Juventus or Bayern Munich – I had much better financial offers from them.

“At the time I wanted to stay at United. I felt at home at Old Trafford."
