Daichi Kamada has now landed in Rome ahead of a move that will see him join Lazio on a free transfer, as multiple photos of his arrival have begun to emerge online.

The Japan international is said to have landed at the Leonardo Da Vinci airport in Fiumicino on Thursday afternoon and will undergo a medical with Lazio on Friday before the announcement of his signing is made official.

Several outlets report that Kamada has agreed to join Lazio on a two-year deal with the option of a third. He is available on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt at the end of the 2022-23 season.

Sky suggest that Kamada will earn €4m per season while playing for the Biancocelesti, on top of additional signing bonuses totalling around €5m.

Reports detail that this became affordable to Lazio through their partnership with Japanese sportswear company Mizuno.
Kamada, aged 26, is set to join Lazio off the back of an impressive few seasons in the Bundesliga with Eintracht, chipping in with 16 goals and seven assists across all competitions last season.

He was also heavily involved in Eintracht’s victorious Europa League campaign in 2021-22.
