It is reported that Nikola Kalinic could leave Milan in the summer after his exclusion from the Rossoneri squad.

The Croatian forward, although not injured, will not even be on the bench for today’s Serie A match with Chievo at the San Siro.

Although publically described as ‘a technical choice’ by the club, it appears Coach Rino Gattuso has left him out as a result of a poor attitude in training.

According to Corriere della Sera, Gattuso told Kalinic that he would not be included in the matchday squad in front of his Diavolo teammates at the end of a session.

“I haven’t seen any commitment, I’m not including you,” Gattuso is claimed to have said.

Kalinic, who was among the substitutes for Thursday evening’s Europa League tie at Arsenal, was thought to be in pole position to start today’s clash with the Flying Donkeys.

However, his exclusion here has prompted speculation that he will seek a move away from the San Siro in the summer.

The 30-year-old has scored only four goals in 30 appearances since joining Milan from Fiorentina last summer.
