Reports in Spain suggest Nikola Kalinic’s move from Milan to Atletico Madrid is practically done.

The striker joined the Rossoneri from Fiorentina last summer for a reported €25m, but he managed just six goals all season.

To make things worse, he was sent home from Croatia’s World Cup squad after refusing to come on against Nigeria, and had to watch from home as his teammates reached the final.

Now Marca is reporting that the Rossoneri have a deal with Atleti for Kalinic, a loan with an €18m obligation to buy.

The striker is now ready to fly out to Spain to complete the move, with Milan potentially breaking even depending on how much Atletico Madrid pay for the loan.
