Nikola Kalinic has reportedly agreed terms with Milan, but Fiorentina are becoming irritated by the lack of progress in negotiations.

According to Gazzeta dello Sport, Kalinic has agreed a four-year contract with Milan, worth €3m a season, but the Diavolo have yet to improve on their bid of €25m.

This is €5m below Fiorentina’s asking price, although Gazzetta notes representatives from both clubs are due to meet in Milan on Monday.

However, the Viola are not prepared to negotiate for much longer as they need the money to fund a swoop for Genoa striker Giovanni Simeone.

Furthermore, Milan’s priority remains Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Diego Costa is “lurking in the background”.

Fiorentina are keen to avoid a situation whereby Milan deliberately leave it late to sign the Croat so they receive less for the player.
