Tax complications may have scuppered Kaka's move from Real Madrid back to Milan.

Rossoneri Vice-President Adriano Galliani was expected in Madrid on Wednesday to take in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup at the Bernabeu, and begin talks with Real President Florentino Perez regarding a loan move for the Brazilian, who was a hero during his six year spell at San Siro but is a fringe player for Jose Mourinhos' Merengues.

However Gazzetta dello Sport report that Galliani took some financial advice on the deal this morning, and the feedback he received was so negative he may not fly out to the Spanish capital after all.

Gazzetta describe the advice as 'a cold shower' for Galliani, who is keen to pull off the transfer in order to assuage the club's critics and win back the fans after a disappointing summer for the Diavolo and a 1-0 opening day defeat to Sampdoria” data-scaytid=”16″>Sampdoria in Serie A yesterday.

Transfer market consultant Ernesto Bronzetti is said to be holding preliminary talks with Perez this evening.

Gallliani has often made unfavourable comparisons between the tax regulations for Italian clubs and those imposed on Spanish clubs in the past.
