As part of the shake-up, Inter were rumoured to be preparing a January bid for Real Madrid's Kaka, a player who made his name in European football with city rivals Milan.

As part of the shake-up, Inter were rumoured to be preparing a January bid for Real Madrid's Kaka, a player who made his name in European football with city rivals Milan.

However, Bronzetti has been attributed a number of quotes which suggest that the South American is heading for the Premiership.

"Kaka to Inter? I know Real President Florentino Perez very well, I only spoke to him a few days ago and he'll never sell Kaka in January," Bronzetti said.

"I would say that there is a 90 per cent chance that Kaka will go to Chelsea at the end of the season for a fee of around €50m."

Chelsea have been keen on the player in the past and Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti worked with the attacking midfielder during his stint on the Milan bench.
