The 36-year-old didn’t seem happy despite Juventus’ victory over Genoa and threw his shirt to the ground after the final whistle.

Goal.com’s Romeo Agresti reports Ronaldo had agreed to give his shirt to a ball boy. However, Andrea Pirlo offered a different version, confirming the former Real Madrid start was upset for not scoring.

“It’s normal he wanted to score a goal, especially when the game was getting complicated, as he is a champion and always wants to make his mark,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.

The former midfielder also added the club won’t fine the striker for his reaction.

“I don’t think so. He was upset as it happens to other players too. The game was over and it’s normal he was nervous. I don’t think the club or the coach will fine him.”
