According to Tuttosport, Juventus are considering Genoa’s Eldor Shomurodov as a possible attacking reinforcement in the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old joined Genoa from Rostov last summer for a reported €7.5m fee.

The Uzbek has three goals and just as many assists in 20 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

Juventus reportedly seek a new centre forward to back-up their starting striker Alvaro Morata.

The Serie A defending champions, however, need their new purchase to be came for a cheap price and according to the report, they will try to sign the Genoa player on a free loan until the end of the season.

The Old Lady are finalising a swap deal between the Rossoblu’s Nicolò Rovella and Manolo Portanova, with the Grifone starlet who will remain on loan at his club until the end of the next season.

Juventus are also being linked with other centre forward, including Graziano Pellé, while Fabio Quagliarella has decided to remain at Sampdoria and snubbed the Old Lady’s interest.
