Juventus are waiting for Adrien Rabiot’s contract decision and have targeted Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as a potential replacement, but according to Gazzetta, Man United are interested in both midfielders.

Juventus have offered Rabiot a one-year contract extension keeping the same salary, circa €7m per season.

The midfielder’s deal at the Allianz Stadium expires at the end of the month and according to Gazzetta, the club’s directors are aware that Rabiot may not extend his stay in Turin, leaving as a free agent on June 30.

The pink paper claims Barcelona and Manchester United are keeping a close eye on the ex-PSG midfielder, but the Red Devils also want Lazio star Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbia international has a year left in his contract at the Stadio Olimpico and if United go for Rabiot, then the Old Lady will have less competition for SMS.

Lazio want at least €30m and don’t seem interested in swap deals at this stage although Juventus could offer Luca Pellegrini and/or Nicolò Rovella to lower Milinkovic-Savic’s price tag.

It remains to be seen if SMS would agree to move to the Allianz Stadium especially considering that his agent rejected Arsenal and Newcastle last summer as they would not play Champions League football in 2022-23.

Nevertheless, Gazzetta claims SMS is ‘fascinated’ by a potential move to Turin.
