According to Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri have been working to convince the player and his agent for more than a year, and Chiesa is their number one target for next season.

Relations between the Old Lady and the Viola are good after Marko Pjaca’s loan move this summer and Federico Bernardeschi’s move to Turin the year before.

The fact that Juventus allowed Fiorentina to have an option rather than an obligation to buy Pjaca, as well as opting not to include a buyback clause, could well be an indication they’re looking to attain a privileged position for Chiesa.
