Juventus have reportedly decided to continue with Paulo Dybala and are set to meet with the Argentine’s representatives to sign a new deal.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the club has scheduled a meeting with the Argentine’s agent, but there’s no rush due to the mutual desire to reach an agreement.

Juventus want to keep one of their most important players in recent years and protect their investment in La Joya.

Massimiliano Allegri’s return to the Bianconeri ahead of 2021-22 has reassured Dybala of an important role in the project.

Sporting director Cherubini doesn’t want to risk losing Dybala on a free transfer in July 2022 and the report believes the forward will sign a new deal worth €10m a season, with bonuses to be discussed in the upcoming meeting.

Dybala moved to Juventus from Palermo in 2015 for a reported €40m and signed a new five year deal in April 2017.

His current contract is worth €7.3m and expires next summer, but the Argentine seems set to extend with the Old Lady.
