Leonardo Bonucci and Federico Bernardeschi are ruled out by COVID, but Merih Demiral provided two negative tests, so can join the squad from tomorrow morning.

It is likely he will therefore be on the bench and ready to play.

Gigi Buffon returns from suspension, while Paulo Dybala, McKennie and Arthur are back after they were excluded for disciplinary reasons for breaking lockdown rules with a party at the American midfielder’s home last week.

Of the trio, all except Dybala are expected to start, with Sky Sport Italia seeing a 4-4-2 formation that has McKennie and Federico Chiesa taking the wide midfield roles.

Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo again start upfront, with Danilo and Juan Cuadrado as the full-backs.

Juventus (probable): Szczesny; Cuadrado, De Ligt, Chiellini, Danilo; McKennie, Arthur, Bentancur, Chiesa; Morata, Ronaldo
