The Old Lady made clear last night she is ready to face the Azzurri at the Allianz Stadium tonight but Gennaro Gattuso’s side did not leave Napoli yesterday and are not going to be at the venue tonight.
Napoli were blocked by a statement from the local health authority that asked to place players and coach Gennaro Gattuso into 'fiduciary isolation'. It is not, however, a ban on travelling.
According to Sky Sport, Napoli players are currently isolating in their homes. They will undergo a Covid-19 test tomorrow at the Stadio San Paolo before of moving to the club’s training ground in Castel Volturno where they will self-isolate for up to two weeks.
Juventus have been following their regular matchday schedule today. The team had a training session at the Continassa in the morning before having lunch. The group will leave for the Allianz Stadium at 7.30 local time.
The Lega Serie A has not ordered the postponement of the match and Juventus will show up at the Stadium tonight. If Napoli won’t be there, the referee will wait 45 minutes and then blow the final whistle. In that case, Napoli that could be handed a 3-0 defeat by default.
