Juventus are preparing a new bid in an attempt to persuade Adrien Rabiot to stay in Turin and turn down potential offers from Premier League and other European clubs, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

With his contract expiring in less than six months, the French midfielder is currently free to open negotiations with other teams, which is why the Bianconeri are set to make a move and offer him a new contract deal in order to keep one of coach Massimiliano Allegri’s most trusted players.

Rabiot currently earns a net €7m per season and La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Bianconeri could offer him a similar figure. However, the signature bonus remains an issue to be discussed with his mother and agent Veronique Rabiot, although her good relations with sporting director Federico Cherubini could make an agreement easier to reach.

Allegri himself could also influence the midfielder’s choice as Rabiot acknowledged how the work done with his coach has helped him improve, as he feels in ‘the best moment’ of his career, La Rosea adds.

However, the Bianconeri know that after a decent World Cup campaign which saw him help France reach the Final several European clubs have set their eyes on the 27-year-old, with Premier League outfits such as Newcastle and Chelsea, besides the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona, considering to sign him as a free agent at the end of the season.

Although Rabiot himself has labeled the Premier League the ‘more suitable’ league for him, La Gazzetta dello Sport writes that he’s likely to wait and see how the investigations on Juventus will play out before making his ultimate decision.
