Juventus have a plan for talented but unknown defender Federico Gatti, who has never made a Serie A appearance before at the age of 23.

The Bianconeri signed the 23-year-old Italian centre back from Frosinone in a deal worth around €5.5m back in January, taking a risk on a player who was impressing in Serie B. Massimiliano Allegri gave the green light to the deal and now the player is preparing to join up with the squad in Turin.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Allegri is prepared to take Gatti with Juventus to their pre-season training camp this summer and he’ll be given the chance to impress, possibly becoming the fourth-choice centre back in the first team.

The Italian coach is keen to see what the 23-year-old Italian defender has to offer, but if things don’t go to plan then the club are willing to loan him out to another Serie A side.

  1. That is why Juve pay PhD Max the big bucks. Rather then to have Gatti sit on the sofa all summer, Omicron 2.0 Slow will get him to observe the greatness of the Dutch Phil Jones and old man Bonucci. After summer camp, Cowboy Max will then ship him back to Serie B for a 10 year apprenticeship. Full debut to arrive at 33 years young.

  2. Acerbi has already sealed the place. Gatti is too young for Allegri, so he will be sent to Cremonese or other teams.

  3. @Rosario, half of the time your spelling and grammar is all over the place. Now get back to washing your socks hall monitor NERD.

@LORD keep them posts coming buddy. Always good to hear your sarcasm especially on a glorious public holiday.

  4. The amount of TOSH one reads on these threads is beyond belief………certain characters believe themselves to be GAURDIOLA, KLOPP or ANCELOTTI .

Incredible……..did they ever go to school, certain characters? I seriously doubt it.

  5. The same could be said of you Andrew as your expertise brought nothing to the table. In my opinion, Pogba was a very good prospect and Juve got the best out of him. His form for France is another story, but worth remembering that they have an abundance of talent and experience around him. For free it makes sense, but he will not be the Pogba of old. There are better and younger players out there and his attitude has a lot to be desired.

I think it’s time for you for a hysochologist visit. You developed a strong egocentric Allegri complex

  7. Ros what is a hysochologist? Are you making up new PhD words…. I think you need to visit an actual psychologist, as you have been too institutionalised by “Feng Shui” Max’s back, back, down, down Medieval Ball. Perhaps you have been smoking too much. At least you came here just to seek me out. I am always glad to trigger wokeristas who are morally outraged, for the simple crime of having an opinion.
