Aston Villa have reportedly joined Juventus in the race for Lazio star Felipe Anderson, who is available on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Juventus have already opened talks with Felipe Anderson’s entourage ahead of a potential free transfer in June, as his contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs out in June 2024.

Wednesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport on page seven confirms Juventus are ready to offer a €4m-a-year contract to the former West Ham winger, while Il Messaggero reported earlier this week that the Old Lady had reached a principle of agreement with the player’s entourage.

However, the deal is not yet sealed as Tuttosport reports that more clubs have set their sights on Felipe Anderson.

According to the report, Aston Villa are among the Premier League sides ‘in front row’ for the 30-year-old who has already played in England with West Ham. Sky Sports UK first reported Aston Villa’s interest in Felipe Anderson on Tuesday.

Felipe Anderson has two goals and seven assists in 28 appearances with Lazio this season. Multiple sources claim he will not accept Lazio’s offer to extend his stay, which is worth €3.5m per season.
