Radio Formula, a station in Mexico believes that the Bianconeri are considering the centre-back as a backup to Andrea Barzagli for next season.

The Italian international missed the first half of this season with injury, and it’s thought that the Old Lady have identified Moreno as having similar characteristics, making him an able deputy.

Moreno has shown the ability to play in a back four with Espanyol, as well as a three-man defence as employed by the Mexican national team.
