Stefano Sturaro will not travel to Florence with the Juventus squad, as he’s suffering from mumps, but he was suspended anyway.

The midfielder has made 16 appearances for the Bianconeri so far this season, and while he'd have missed the game at Fiorentina in any case, he has been sent home to recover from his illness.

“Stefano Sturaro underwent a medical check-up today with Doctor Libero Tubino, which revealed a severe case of mumps,” a statement on Juventus’ official website announced.
