Agent Jorge Mendes will reportedly return to Juventus with an offer from Manchester City, hoping to close a deal with the Old Lady over Cristiano Ronaldo, and the Bianconeri will thus try to sign two strikers.

SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla reports the Citizens are prepared to meet the Old Lady’s demands and complete a move for Ronaldo this month.

The report claims Juventus are therefore looking at different options to replace the Portugal captain.

Mendes in Paris, but won’t meet with PSG for Ronaldo

Ronaldo’s future has been uncertain all summer and the stiker seems more and more likely to move away from Turin.

Gabriel Jesus has been mentioned as a potential makeweight in the deal between the two clubs, but SportItalia reports the Old Lady is in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over former Inter striker Mauro Icardi.

The Argentine will be able to leave the French capital if Kylian Mbappé stays, but Real Madrid are pushing for a deal with the France international.

The report believes Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette of Arsenal are on Juventus’ wish list, with Moise Kean another possible target.

Kean left Juventus in August 2019 and the 20-year-old has been linked with a return to the Allianz Stadium ever since. The Italy international spent last year on loan with Paris Saint-Germain.

10 thought on “Juventus looking for two strikers to replace Ronaldo?”
  1. Cherubini seems to be very clueless in the transfer market.

How can Ramsey stay but McKennie leave?
    Bentancur & Bernadeschi staying.
    Rugani stay but Demiral leave?
    Szczesny over Donarumma??

Icardi, Witsel, Kean, Auba, Lacazette, & all sorts of washed up players linked…

Juventus‘ undoing this season will be transfers.

  2. Cypher its easier to sell off McKennie and let Demi leave on loan then to sell Ramsey and Rugani, nobody wants to spend money on Ramsey and Rugani, how can u blame it on Cherubini? Blame Paratici for bringing in players like Ramsey with a big wage, but the Szeszny thing i can agree on.

  3. @ Cypher, it’s market value and balance sheet. He needs to balance the budget, but can’t afford to bring in players like Donarumma, as well as can’t sell players like Rugani due to prior management giving them high wages. This leaves him with the likes of Ramsey, Bernadeschi and Tek. In terms of Bentacur, they wouldn’t get full transfer value as they have to pay his prior club a percentage.

  4. Don’t think I’d give up on Bentancur just yet. But he definitely needs to bounce back this year.

  5. If Juve aren’t happy with McKennie’s attitude they are in for a surprise if they bring Icardi and his wife in….

  6. It was Allegri who wanted Tek to remain no.1 keeper and so stopped our attempts to get Donna. This was a big mistake that will only grow bigger by the year. We started to see the effects of this already against Udinese and let’s not forget how bad a Euro tournament Tek had with Poland – he was awful.

  7. Another Frankie! I agree totally. Juve failed Ronaldo I think. No strategy to utilise him correctly. Two managers in two seasons. It’s a pity!

  8. @chyper. lol
ramsey stay because nobody wants him.
same as useless rabbiot and scezny.
bentancur is a solid box to box just not a finisher. he is young and CHEAP.
bernardeschi is a multirole player, he is reliable and only because of ronaldo that many can’t see how he is worth.
rugani 100x times better than demiral. just look at euro how worst is demiral and de ligt. both are NIGHTMARE.
only clueless fans that keep overestimated those two clowns.

just look at juve defensive record with de ligt and demiral, it tell us everything. this two CB is not worth for juve level.
you can’t easily replace italian defensore like on other leagues. in juve we appreciate good defender and clean sheets.
if u kept making hand ball and red card tackling, that mean you are not good enough.period.

    i agreed 1000% about donnaruma.
sir cesni from arsenol had 7.5M salary just shy 2.5M from what gigi asked.
i remember we paid buffon on his prime about 10M euro too.
it is a technical errors and driven by media BS who glorified sczny ability.
he is not even in top 10 GK.
if he that good, arsenol probably already won many throphies with him.
we had been kick out earlier from UCL because of bad GK and suffered many goals in seri A too past this 3 season with scezny.
i never seen any juventus GK this bad.
storari is 10x times better than scezny.
i will trust alex manninger more than him too.

kaio jorge was injured the 1st week his in, that’s a good sign of tipical brazilian party boy like costa.

so far cherubini did OK as he land us locatelli.
i really hope we sold de ligt and got bastoni or mancini.

  9. juve failed ronaldo???
the club is BIGGER than the player.
sorry in Juventus no one is bigger than the team.
the problem in juve is RONALDO.
his worth is 1M euro per goals with 11 of them done in penalty the last season.

ronaldo also leaving as he wish flying with private jet to Lisbon, what a perfect example for professional player.
ronaldo had been ruined juventus and made juve out from scudetto last year.
he never displayed his worth in juve shirt.
