Juventus have not lost sight of transfer target Houssem Aouar and reportedly hope Mattia De Sciglio can help them lower the Lyon asking price.

The 22-year-old midfielder has long been on the Juve radar, although they face competition from Arsenal.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Bianconeri hope Lyon will want to activate their option to buy full-back De Sciglio, who is currently in France on loan.

That would allow Juve to lower the cost of the €40m transfer operation by circa €10m.

It could also give Juventus the upper hand, already having a relationship with Olympique Lyonnais.

Aouar is under contract until June 2023 and so far this season has scored six goals with four assists in 26 competitive appearances.
