Juve are still thought to be in pole position, but sporting director Fabio Paratici will have to move fast to stop his mentor from hijacking the deal.

The Bianconeri are ready to invest around €50m for Chiesa, part of which could be made up by sending a player in exchange.

Marko Pjaca, who is already on loan in Florence, would be a logical option, but Riccardo Orsolini is also being considered, the newspaper reports.
