The Bianconeri have stepped-up their interest in recent days, and now calciomercato.com reports that a deal is very close.

The two clubs met after Monday night’s Serie A match, and yesterday a basic agreement was found between the two.

Yesterday Juve directors Fabio Paratici and Giuseppe Marotta spoke directly with Grifone President Enrico Preziosi who also gave the go-ahead.

This morning, the website reports, a meeting was held with Pellegri’s agent Giuseppe Riso, where it was made clear that the 16-year-old wants to move to Turin.

Genoa had asked for €30m for the starlet, and Juventus intend to make that up with €10m up front and a further €20m in potential bonuses.

All that remains to be defined is Pellegri’s immediate future, as he could be loaned back to Marassi for six or 18 months.

It’s also possible players could be used in exchange, with Stefano Sturaro potentially returning to Genoa.

The final details are being worked out, but calciomeracto.com is confident that Pellegri is very close to becoming a Juventus player.
