Giorgio Chiellini’s contract expired on June 30, but his shirt is on sale in Juventus‘ online store, while Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t appear in the away kit launch.

The Serie A giants unveiled their away kit for the 2021-22 campaign today and the Portuguese superstar is absent from the kit promo with Matthijs de Ligt, Danilo, Alex Sandro, Paulo Dybala and Weston McKennie chosen as the main models.

Ronaldo was relegated down further down the page when Juventus unveiled their new home kit in June.

The contract of the Portuguese star expires on June 30, 2022, and Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved claimed last week the club expects him to return to the Continassa around July 25.

Ronaldo’s absence from the kit promo may just be a coincidence, but the same isn’t true for Giorgio Chiellini who ran out of his contract in June, but has his shirt on sale in the club’s online store.

The same goes for Mattia De Sciglio, Daniele Rugani and Marko Pjaca who are on the market.
