It’s reported Max Allegri tried out a 4-3-1-2 formation in training with Paulo Dybala as a trequartista behind strikers Mario Mandzukic and Gonzalo Higuain.

The tactician had struggled to fit Dybala into the 4-3-3 system, so adjusted it to get the best out of La Joya.

Medhi Benatia is expected to get the nod rather than Daniele Rugani at centre-back.

Juventus squad for Verona: Chiellini, Benatia, Khedira, Marchisio, Higuain, Dybala, Douglas Costa, Alex Sandro, Matuidi, Barzagli, Pinsoglio, Mandzukic, Pjaca, Asamoah, Szczesny, Rugani, Lichtsteiner, Sturaro, Bentancur, Bernardeschi, Loria
