Juventus are working on a new deal to keep goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny at the club until 2024.

The Poland international has grown to become the Bianconeri’s first choice between the sticks, despite the return of Gianluigi Buffon.

Now, Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolò Schira reports Juve are locked in talks to tie him down to a new contract worth €4.5m a year.

Szczesny has started six Serie A matches so far in 2019-20 but has kept just one clean sheet and was replaced by Buffon in the win against Genoa midweek.
