However now, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal is set to go through following Australian international James Troisi’s medical with Juventus last night.

Attacking force Troisi, 24, arrives at Juventus from Kayserispor after a breakthrough season in the Turkish Super Lig, but will be directly passed on to Atalanta in a co-ownership deal.

In return, Juventus will receive Atalanta product Gabbiadini, who is then immediately expected to join Bologna on loan. The Old Lady will reportedly pay Atalanta €2.5m plus the co-ownership of Troisi.
