Juventus director general Beppe Marotta recently admitted that Benzema is the type of player he is looking for.

Talking to Sky Sport Italia last week, Marotta was asked whether one from Carlos Tevez [Man City], Benzema or Sergio Aguero [Atletico Madrid] would arrive.

"Let's say that we are looking for a player who is similar in profile to those," he responded without naming names.

Atletico have confirmed that Juventus have expressed an interest in Aguero.
