Roberto Mancini insists his Inter side will face a tough test against Juventus, despite Bianconeri rotation.

Max Allegri revealed in his pre-match Press conference today that Andrea Pirlo, Arturo Vidal, Patrice Evra, Carlos Tevez and Gigi Buffon would all be absent, with Serie A already won.

“Tomorrow will be a tough game,” Mancini warned in his own Press conference.

“If a team reaches the Champions League final, it gives them a huge boost. Whoever starts will want to show that they’re on the same level.

“Juve deserve everything they have achieved, whoever plays will be more rested, and will want to make a good impression.”

This will be the 225th Derby d’Italia overall, but the Nerazzurri 28 points behind their bitter rivals.

Nevertheless, Mancini sees reason for optimism since replacing Walter Mazzarri.

“The team has improved. Despite the shortcomings, we are now more of a team, and that’s good.

“At the same time, there have been negative results, and we’ve thrown away games we could have easily won. We had wanted to be in the top three.

“We’ve dropped too many points. Fiorentina, Torino, Udinese, Parma, Cesena, Sampdoria. So many games where we could have gotten more.”
