The transfer ban imposed on the Spanish club forces them to anticipate their summer moves, and there is a possibility they may sign Morata.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Old Lady is locking down the Spanish striker as well as their €100m midfielder, who is a concrete target for new Blancos Coach Zinedine Zidane.

“Now Madrid are forced to buy,” said agent and Real Madrid pundit Ernesto Bronzetti, in an interview with Premium Sport. “Because they must work in advance for the coming season.

“The stop wasn't completely unexpected, it was in the air, and they'll appeal it. I don't know if the Blancos will be interested in Morata now that Zidane is here. In theory they could bring €31-32m to Turin.

“But they can't exercise the buy-back clause in January, so they'd have to start a whole new deal. But I don't think that's going to happen.

“As for Pogba, half of Europe wants him, not just Real, but only two-three clubs can afford him.

“We'll have to see what [President] Florentino Perez's strategy is after this transfer break. Zidane's ideas are clear. He likes Pogba, he said so himself, but let's see what Perez says, as Real aren't short of great players in that part of the pitch.”
