Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is reportedly preparing a bid of over €100m for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Bianconeri have made Pogba’s return to Turin their main transfer goal of the summer, although they face stern competition from Real Madrid.

The 26-year-old left the Italian Champions for Old Trafford in 2016 for €105m and the midfielder scored 31 times in 142 games during his spell in England.

“Now could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else,” confessed Pogba at the weekend.

However, yesterday the Red Devils claimed that they had no intention of selling the Frenchman, with the Evening Standard reporting that chairman Ed Woodward is determined to hold on to the World Cup winner.

Newly appointed Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be reluctant to hold on to an unhappy player and Pogba could potentially still force a move.

If the Premier League side were to sell, it would have to be a fee somewhere in the region of €145m, a long way off the reported price the Old Lady are prepared to pay.
