Juventus are reportedly in ‘pole position’ to sign forward Anthony Martial, who has only one year left on his Manchester United contract.

According to Tuttosport, Juve have already begun negotiations for Martial and are counting on midfielder and fellow Frenchman Blaise Matuidi to entice him to Turin.

The 22-year-old is described as being a long-time target for Bianconeri supremos Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici as tried and failed to sign him between 2012 and 2013.

On that occasion, Martial ultimately left Olympique Lyonnais for Monaco as a teenager, before his transfer to United in 2015, for a fee that could rise to €66m.
