The verdict of Napoli's appeal for the 3-0 defeat by default and the point deduction after Juventus-Napoli will be decided at CONI today.

The Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis has appealed the decision to hand Juventus the win over the table and to deduct his team one point for not having turned up for the scheduled match in October.

At 13.30 UK time today, the hearing to discuss the appeal presented by Napoli against the FIGC and Juventus regarding the sentence related to the match in Turin on October 4 will begin at the Sports Guarantee Board.

Napoli were sanctioned for a 3-0 defeat and deducted one point. La Gazzetta dello Sport reports the FIGC and Juventus will not bring new elements to the trial.

The outcome is expected in the evening, but even if Napoli still gets an unfavourable sentence, they have the possibility to bring the case higher up.

The next steps would be the Regional Administrative Tribunal, the Council State and then the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
