According to the stories, Juventus enquired about the status of strikers Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain and midfielder Lassana Diarra.

However, the stories suggest that talks also revolved around a couple of Juve players who are apparently of interest to the Liga giants.

Defender Giorgio Chiellini, who has been paired with the Madrid outfit over the years, is liked by Real although he recently committed his future to the Bianconeri.

While it is even being claimed that Real may be interested in Amauri, a striker who boss Jose Mourinho has admired in the past.

The Brazilian-born Italian international will return to Juventus at the end of the season following his successful loan move to Parma in January.
