Juventus are marking the 26th anniversary of the Heysel disaster and unveil the many tributes to the victims in their new stadium.

On May 29, 1985 the European Cup Final between Juve and Liverpool was hit by one of the worst tragedies in the history of the sport.

Liverpool hooligans knocked down a wall in the Heysel Stadium in Brussels before kick-off. Both this act of violence and the ensuing chaos led to 39 deaths and over 600 injuries.

Juventus went on to win the match and their first ever European Cup, but it remains a dark day in the club's history.

The Bianconeri have confirmed they will have several tributes to those killed at Heysel in their new stadium.

In the area of the star dedicated to Gaetano Scirea, who was captain that day, there will be another 39 smaller stars with the names of those who died.

The Juventus Museum, to be opened in Spring 2012, will also have an area on the Heysel tragedy. The families of the victims will always be allowed free entry to the Museum.
