According to the Italian daily, more talks are set to take place between the two clubs regarding a possible deal.

Although the extent of Cuadrado’s problem is still not known, Juve are not taking any risks and are planning for the worst case scenario.

Yesterday, Sassuolo director Giovanni Carnevali admitted Politano had expressed a desire to leave the Neroverdi, but that Napoli were in pole position to secure his signature.

However, with the Turin side now also in the hunt, the situation could change.

Politano has been a Sassuolo player since 2015, when he signed from Pescara.
