Palermo playmaker Franco Vazquez is gathering attention from Juventus, but a deal seems unlikely before the summer.

The Bianconeri have been increasingly reported as looking for a trequartista with recent options suggested to include Galatasaray's Wesley Sneijder, Bayern Munich's Xherdan Shaqiri and Newcastle United's Hatem Ben Arfa, currently on loan with Hull City.

The Bianconeri have been increasingly reported as looking for a trequartista with recent options suggested to include Galatasaray's Wesley Sneijder, Bayern Munich's Xherdan Shaqiri and Newcastle United's Hatem Ben Arfa, currently on loan with Hull City.

However, a domestic option in the form of Palermo’s Vazquez, who is able to cover a variety of roles in attack and, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, has the approval of director Beppe Marotta.

But, the Gazzetta also reports that a deal in the winter is unlikely, and that an offer will more realistically come in the summer.
