Juventus President Andrea Agnelli doesn’t expect to lose Antonio Conte, Andrea Pirlo or Paul Pogba in the immediate future.

Some reports are suggesting that this may be Conte’s last season in charge, while Pirlo’s contract expires in June and Pogba is wanted by a host of Europe’s top clubs.

“I’m very happy with Conte and he is very happy with me and Juventus,” Agnelli told Tuttosport on Tuesday. “I don’t see a Juventus without Conte.

“As for Pirlo, I’ve told him this is his home. I know that he has a meeting planned with director general Beppe Marotta in February-March to define everything.

“Pirlo will stay with us for a little while longer.

“Pogba? We don’t have the resources to go over certain figures. Who, in Italy, pays wages of €5m or €6m?

“As Pogba is considered as potentially the best midfielder in the world then it would be hard for us to keep him [in the long term].

“An extension is possible though. I don’t think there are any problems with a renewal at this particular time.”

Juventus have made a fine start to the season in Serie A, given that they have won 15 of their 17 games so far.

And new boys Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez have performed well since their summer arrivals in Turin.

“Llorente and Tevez were excellent swoops by Marotta, Fabio Paratici and Pavel Nedved, then Conte was exceptional in getting value from them.

“Transfers next month? The January market is one for repairs and I don’t think there is the need for that. We’ll see in June.”
