It is seen that the Bianconeri have reignited their pursuit of the 33-year-old followed the Premier League side’s purchase of Luke Shaw.
Reports are that Juve have already reached provisional agreement with the player on personal terms, that he is open to the move and that his agent has now arrived in Rio to meet with him to work out the next steps.
However, it is understood that a move is no formality, as Evra first wants to clarify his potential role under new manager Louis van Gaal and that his attachment to Manchester United remains ‘strong’.
The Gazzetta dello Sport also suggest the two clubs have a way to go in negotiations, with Juve apparently prepared to pay no more than €2m and United after no less than €4m.
