Juventus have decided to block Leonardo Bonucci from joining the Azzurri for the training camps, say reports.

Coach Antonio Conte recently released a list of 28 players who would train together and be evaluated ahead of Euro 2016.

No footballers due to play in the Coppa Italia final on May 21 have been included, but Bonucci made the list as he is suspended for that game anyway.

Coach Antonio Conte recently released a list of 28 players who would train together and be evaluated ahead of Euro 2016.

No footballers due to play in the Coppa Italia final on May 21 have been included, but Bonucci made the list as he is suspended for that game anyway.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus blocked the player on the grounds that they have no formal obligation to hand him over, because the training camps are not part of FIFA's official calendar.

They believe that Bonucci, even if he only takes part in the training stages before the game, is too important to their team to give him away.

The episode signals yet another clash between the Italian Federation and the Italian clubs, who once again emerge victorious, and suggests the Azzurri are bound to be even weaker in the post-Conte area.
