Early evening UK time will see the Bianconeri and Vesuviani face off in Doha, Qatar for the 2014 Supercoppa Italiana, in a fixture moved from its traditional August slot this year.

Speculation is that Juve will have a full-strength first XI lined up in Allegri’s recently preferred 4-3-1-2 formation, with Claudio Marchisio and Paul Pogba flanking Andrea Pirlo, and Arturo Vidal supporting Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente in attack.

Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez is seen to hold doubts over just the one position in his line-up, over whether to run with Marek Hamsik in the No 10 role, or try Jonathan de Guzman ahead of him.

David Lopez and Jorginho are expected to maintain their partnership in the middle of the park, whilst Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens will support from wide central striker Gonzalo Higuain.

Probable line-ups

Juventus: Buffon; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chiellini, Evra; Marchisio, Pirlo, Pogba; Vidal; Tevez, Llorente

Napoli: Rafael; Maggio, Albiol, Koulibaly, Ghoulam; David Lopez, Jorginho; Callejon, Hamsik, Mertens; Higuain
