Hellas Verona coach Ivan Juric has revealed he doesn’t like the five substitutions on offer during the Serie A run-in: “Against Cagliari I used only three.”
Eight-placed Gialloblu resumed with three points in the 2-1 win against Cagliari at the Bentegodi, but the coach didn’t utilise all five changes at hand.
“Against Cagliari I only used three,” Juric said at a press conference. “I don’t like them, they don’t excite me much, even if they can be of help.

“You change half the team, then obviously if you have a fantastic squad, the game changes.
“There are certain roles in which, if they convince me during the match, I prefer not to tamper with.”
Verona continue with another home game against Napoli tonight and a win would see them leapfrog their rivals at sixth.
