Ivan Juric insists Genoa “were dominating” away to SPAL and can’t understand how they managed to lose yet again.

The Grifone were beaten 1-0 by a Mirco Antenucci goal, but there was precious little to separate the sides.

“It is difficult for me to explain every single result, as until the goal there was only one team on the pitch. We conceded on the first error,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

“It is difficult for me to explain every single result, as until the goal there was only one team on the pitch. We conceded on the first error,” the Coach told Mediaset Premium.

“It might not seem credible when I say that every time, but it’s true. There is certainly work to be done and areas where we can improve.

“I still have to metabolise this game, as we ran barely any risks at all, but unfortunately that’s the kind of moment we’re going through.

“We lacked the determination to finish off a game we had been dominating. The team plays good football, so it’s difficult for me to analyse these defeats.”

The sack rumours will undoubtedly be back for Juric, but he maintains “the important thing is the team, the rest doesn’t worry me.”
